Default integy motor springs

anyone know where I can get springs for a integy 55t lathe motor, Ive searched here and a couple hobby shops. cant find anywhere that has em. I was about to tear the axle apart cause I had the motor in my had and it was spinning then nothing would happen when it was in, I thought a shaft or something was broke somewhere and bound up. then I noticed it missing when I was about to check the brushes first, It must have jumped off somewhere when I was trailridin out back. any help is much appreciated. even a ghetto rig is cool until I get a spring.

Thanks

Wouldn't just about any standard brush spring work?

I just bought a set of HD springs for mine. They are just standard springs...make sure that you have the correct ones. When looking from the top the part that presses against the brush should be on the bottom right and the straight part is on the top left.

Any LHS should carry them.

The purple springs will apply more pressure to the brushes and your motor will perform better also. I have also seen some silver springs that are stronger than the purples but have not used them.

The purple springs from Trinity are what most people here use:

I bought 6 sets myself. I noticed a difference on my TLT's with them. With my TXT, no difference, just too heavy.
