Default tq3 winch setup

i couldnt really find anything spacific enough i have no clue what to do. i ahve a winch mounted on my truck but with the stock switch the winch only goes in it doesnt go out. i was told i need to buy a new switch so it could go in and out. a way to make the winch stop anytime i want but so i can make it go in and out?:-(

an idea i also had was to keep the stock switch but take wires from the stock switch and wire them to the steering wheel so when i flip the switch the 3rd channel is powered by the steering wheel not the switch, like it i turn the steering wheel one way the winch would go in and if i turn it the other way it would go out? (if you have no clue what i am talking about just answer to the top question thanks)

buy a 3 way toggle (on/off/on) switch. that would be the easiest way to do it.
do a search on how to wire it in. it really isnt hard to do. just solder the wires back into the same position on the new switch and fit the switch to the controller.

when it comes to wiring i suck and im only 16, so i cut the wires from my old switch and then just resolder them on to the new switch in the same position???
