| Mamba Max, TR2, Servos
Ok I am looking for a ESC for my Clod with 2 Integy 55t and 2 HS645MG servos. The two popular ESC seems to be the Mamba Max and TR2. From what I read so far, it seems that if I use the TR2 I will be able to run two servos without voltage regulator and no RX pack. Is this correct? What about the Mamba Max? Do I need a voltage regulator for the servos or do I run a RX pack for it. Thanks! |

The servos are the Hitec 645mg's correct? Both servos will operate these with no problem. I used to run the TR2 and now run the Mamba Max, and have had no problems with either. No regulator or RX pack. I would not bother with the TR2. Although it worked well for me, the Mamba is a huge improvement. The control that the drag brake adds on steep up and down hill situations is amazing. My rig used to run away one I pointed it down hill and now I can creep down steep faces will control. All that said, I am in the process of changing over to stronger servos. I strip the gears in my 645's at least once per competition. The 645's work good until you drop off a ledge and land forcing on the front tires the steering. I have a TR2 I would sell if you are interested. Great working condition, never a problem. |

The TR2 should do alright with 2 645MG's, The MM I'm not sure about. If either have a problem running 2 servos you could run the rear servo off the BEC and run a Cermark 5.2 volt Regulator to the front servo alone and forget about it. http://radicalrc.secure-mall.com/shop/?shop=1&cat=86& |
