# of cells to run with the EVX?

I'm ready to get a custom battery pack made and was wondering how many cells you can run with the EVX, one battery conversion and a 55t lathe motor? I was thinking about using 7cells, but will a charger be able to recognize there are 7 instead of 6?

Not sure if I want to go with the GP3700 or GP3300 yet either.

it would help if you give more info.we're not mind readers  what charger do you have?if it's limit is for 7 cells then it'll work.if not then it willn't.tell us a little bit about what you have

Doh.. I thought I put that in the post. I;m running Epic Dreadnaught batts and a Dynamite Twin Peak charger, I haven't heard good things about either one. I was thinking about buying one 7-cell battery off of cheapbatterys.com but don't know if there is any advantage to a 7-cell as compared to a 6-cell.

Bringing it back up

The one battery mod to your EVX doesn't change its ability to handle 12 cells. Lathe motors can handle 10 cells (12V). If your charger says it can do more than 6 cells, then you're good.
