The unit is adjustable in .1 volt increments. 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2 are all viable outputs.

Would using one of these make a worthwhile/noticeable difference to my setup? I'm running 2 TowerPro 995's and a Rebel 2 on 7.2V

Hmm.. Might have to get myself one of these someday .
By the way, how much current can Mamba Max provide (5V or 6V)?

It could, as you could increase the voltage from 6v up to 9v on the servos

The mamba max has 3 amps at 5V available.

Holy @$#)(#! Sweet. This might just be the ticket for my current set up - 12 cells running, and I can get rid of the 5 cell receiver pack. oooh - and the receiver with my DX7 is rated for 9 volts - time to look into some of these servos I've been digging at and see if they'll take it

That is max not continuous right? Isn't continuous more like 1.5 amps?

I was seriously considering these for my 2.2:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...6&I=LM0848&P=K

Of course, I'm open to suggestions, but one of the high points of that servo for me is that it's supposed to be waterproof right out of the box.

I believe they say it is watertight not waterproof. I learned the hard way that there is a difference. :-(

One for me too, but need to know the shipping costs before ordering. They often tend to double the value :(.
