The one he has is a test unit so it depends on if he finds any problems.... If there is any JRH will find them and work with CC to fix it, I am pretty sure JRH is "The Man" when it comes to electronic testing and evaluation!

They look great and for a great price...put me down for one too. Are these programmed with the same link that you use for the ESC's?
Yes, these are the regs. You can program them with the Castle Link for a voltage output of anywhere from 4.8v to 9v.

Give us more info on the ESPN thing. Don't want to miss that.

Thanks
Ever since JRH let me try crawling for the first time out at RCX I have been fascinated by them...and I know how much load you guys are drawing on your servos due to some testing. I figured it was a perfect match, and a great way to get involved in the hobby from a manufacturing perspective, at least until I can afford a rig of my own, and moreover, have some free time to play. ;) As far as the ESPN show...I don't have any information at this point. The show is called "The Competitive Edge"...it's a new tv series on ESPN2. I drove our Power Wheels Cadillac Escalade, an 1/8th Schumacher Menace GTRe, JRH's crawler, a XXX4 Graphite, and an Xcellerator from XTM. Flew 3 planes for the cam as well...my D99 pylon racer, a Thunderbird Kestrel foamie, and my 105" Curtiss Jenny bi-plane. I'll be sure to post more info on when it's going to air, etc.

You can't rush thru beta testing unfortunately...we wouldn't want to release a product with a flaw/glitch/etc. ;)

Wow, this seems like a great product, looks like someone did their homework. I can't wait to get a hold of a couple and ditch my Rx pack.

Looks good! Has Castle said anything about these being water-resistant or waterproof?

That looks really good and the folks at Castle seem to always get it right, that's exciting.

I can check about waterproofing/making these water resistant.

With some of the torture testing our beta guys have been reporting I don't think even I could blow one of these up!

I have done about all the Beta testing I can, and it is up to Castle from this point. I have not gotten word on the production schedule, but it should be close.

I could do a preorder at any time, but the final cost isnt set yet. I would rather wait till I get em in hand so people can buy em through my site and choose shipping costs and so forth.
