Default lipo to big?

I am running a quark 33 and crawlmaster with a 3 cell lipo 11.1v. It works with the 8cell 2/3a packs but not the lipo. The lipo is a flight powered evo lite 2500 mah 18 c continous 28 c burst. Could it be something as simple as the lipo putting out too much power??

Sounds like it is going into thermal,is the ESC hot? does it start working again after it cools down. If so you may need to gear down for the 3 cell.

Ditto. The crawlmaster is big, you might have it overgeared. Otherwise your ESC could be going on the fritz

Yea, I have to go with over heating or something here, because I'm running the Scorpion 3014 (same size as the crawlermaster, a little faster) on a quark33 with a 3 cell 2100 lipo and it's (dare I say it?) as perfect a combo as I can imagine.

well the thing is it dont turn after it shuts off i have to turn the off/on swich off the on and it will work..it only gets to 133*f at most?if i dont charge the lipo all the way up like 3/4 of the way it works fine..also when I run the 8cell it runs arounf 131*f so i dont thing its overgeared Im running a 14t pinion with a r2 tranny.motor runs right around 95.7*f
