Default CONTROL what controls what ?

I have been searching for this info and can't find it in full any one place so here goes. If I use a 3 channel pistol grip and want 4ws in both crab and standard the only way I can get it is with a seperate wheel or switch for the 2nd steering, is that correct ? Servo reversing won't do the trick if I use a Y harness, (then both front and back would reverse) so if I want this feature I would need to use a stick? but I would need to use 2 sticks ? 1 for front 1 for back ? Would servo mixing on 1 stick be possible? if that worked couldn't I maybe find a pistol with servo mixing ? really would like to be able to have rear steering maybe even OFF at times along with 4ws in crab and standard steer. What do I need to get as far as a radio? can I do all this with a stick radio but not use 2 sticks ? Also on the stick radio does anyone use the throttle on their crawler WITHOUT the spring back, ? using the standard throttle that comes on the dx6 for the airplanes ? if so how does it work for you ? I hope this is not to windy .
Thanks

Thanks
that looks like it would do the job. I knew this would happen what about adding dig ? I see that on their web site they are planning on offering a dig attachment.

I already sent them a email and they do have a few of the dig mods avail and they will work with the punk steer I did not ask though if you would need a 4 way switch ? they are 60 ea. shipped 2 @ 110.00 shipped is what I was told for a added 60 to get just the 4ws in three modes plus theadded switch for the tq3 would be a good deal . And work very well also.

Yes if you want 4ws get the punk rc steering computer. Robin over at clod mod racing had sent me one to test out and give it a beating....I stand by their products especially the steering computer. Its really easy to setup and it will allow you to have 3 modes.....regular 2ws crabwalk and 4ws all controlled by 1 switch. with the computer you can also "trim" each servo individually so thats another plus. the durability of this thing is awesome, i had it on my 10 lb super...i had it mounted to the top of the trans so it wouldnt get wet but i was driving it without the body and was crawling a wall and since my esc has a reverse delay the rig landed right on the computer and i mean it hit hard i though i was SOL but suprisingly it still works great.

So with this punk steer thing, how do you just steer the rear axle, without steering the front axle

You can't. But i'm shure clodmodracing can program the computer to do such a thing if you wanted it to do that. Personally i wouldn't need that but i'm shure someone out there could use that option.

Well i guess the steering computer isn't for you. For just the normal basher it's actually a great investment. I really enjoyed the computer and im shure alot of other people will. Since not all of us can go to comps and the nats.

I'm sure a lot of people would find this useful for their particular application
