Default separate hump pack

I've got question for you experienced crawler type peoples... i noticed quite a few of you run separate hump packs for your servos. My question is how do you wire that up?

Do you just plug the hump pack into the battery port of the receiver? or does it take some fancy wiring? I'm thinking of running a hump on my TLT-10 now that i've got a lathe motor for it...

My esc is a super rooster and i usually just run a 3300 match pack.

don't see a reason for the need of the rx pack with a sr,it's bec is more then most other esc.the most common reason to run one is the esc's bec is not enough to handle the servo's being used.mostly digi one's.but if there is other reasons i'd be interested in it as well

What Speed Racer said seems to be the general consensis. You shouldn't need a reciever pack with your setup. The lathe motor doesn't make it necessary to run a reciever pack, if anything the lathe makes it Less necessary. I use a reciever pack only because of my current crappy esc can't handle the 2 servos in my clod.
