My question is, I have a Mongoose 18.5 crawler setup on my Losi MRC, after less than 5min running it it start's to glich and then it completely shuts down alone. I have moved electronics around like suggested on the manual that way no reciver wires or power wire etc. are not touching or close to each other. Here is my spec sheet of what am using: ~ speed: Mongoose Crawler Micro ESC ~ motor: 18.5 Mongoose Crawler Micro ~ connectors: Motor Novak Low Loss connectors, Battery Dean's, ESC Dean's ~ servo: HiTec HS-5245 MG High Torque Digital Mini Servo ~ radio system: Spektrum DX3R, SR3100 DSM2 3 Channel ~ vehicle & gearing: Losi MRC, Stock losi spur / Novak pinion 0.5 Mod 14t ~ battery, brand: 7.4v 2S 860 lipo, MaxxAmps ~ any external modules: None ~ other important info: Have done pretty much every trouble shoot in manual Can you tell me what's wrong? Thank you. |

Hi NovakTwo, Just wondered what turnaround time i should expect on tech enquiries? I recently purchased a new Goat3 and am experiencing significant glitching/shut-down/reset issues with it. I sent a full build spec and detailed report to the tech email address yesterday morning (UK time - so it'll have been waiting for the start of business) but haven't heard anything back yet - even an "ok we'll get back to you…" thanks, David |

Hi David, Generally, turnaround time for tech responses is less than 24 hours. Perhaps, you should re-send your email and mark it "2nd Request". Quote:

The only thing I wanna know is if you guys are gonna make the Goat 3s and other popular ESC's Novalink compatible anytime soon???? If not you guys are gonna force me to go back to Castle Creations,or Holmes Hobbies electronics for the fact that all their stuff is compatible with the Castle Link.. |

We do have new products called the M2-Dig (3S compatible) and two new racing ESC's that we are planning to release shortly and more to follow including more crawling ESC's that will use our new Novalink software. It may sound like we are late coming to the party with the computer interface but we really aren't. In 1997 we were the first to introduce the Data Link Software which allowed you to change all the parameters in our speed controls via computer. Later that year we introduced the Pit Wizard which was the first hand held device that could change the parameters of the ESC's. I guess we were way ahead of our time as neither of these products was successful even though we spent a lot of time and money developing them. Bob Novak

This is great news. Do you have any ETA for availability? This is build season. I need one SOON or it will have to wait until the next build.

What benefits are there to the Goat 3s over the Havok 3s besides the included BEC. I will be running this in a LCC.
