Default dx 6 or rooster crawler problem

I just bought a dx 6 to run a crawler that I have been using a tq3 and the rooster crawler on with no problems. I am trying to hook up hte dx6 and I can't get netrual to be netrual unless i hold the throttle stick down a little 9 (like i'm trying going into reverse) the same thing happens if I use one of the other controls. i have read through both manuals looking for a clue as to what is going on but I can't figure it out i'm sure i'm missing somthing. Can anyone help me ?

Thanks

That still did not work. When in netraul the red light should be on for the rooster. It does not come on until I pull down on the throttle stick Just a little.
I have done this with the motor on as well just to make sure, and it runs until I pull hte stick down.

Just go into the progam menu on the dx-6 with the truck on, and adjust the sub trim till it hits neutral on the esc.

Keep in mind, rechargable batteries are only 1.2 volts per cell. This makes a set of 8 batteries onlt 9.6 volts. When you charge them, they slightly overcharge, showing between 11 and 12 volts, but quickly drop down to the 9.6. Radios with a voltage warning, will chirp at 9.0 volts. What Mah batteries are you using in the Radio? Energizer makes a 2500 Mah, which seems to hold up pretty well. If nothing else, Home Depot usually has a pretty good deal on Dry cell AA's (36 for $11.00)
