Default rooster crawler setup help

got my rooster today and I am having trouble with the one touch setup . It said in the instructions to turn on the transmitter and hold the set button then turn on the esc. Once the esc is turned on, continue to hold the set button until the led light turns red. Once the led turns red, release the set button and hold full throttle on the transmitter until the led light turns green.

I must be doing something wrong because I hold the throttle for ever and it doesn't turn green. Help!!

Throttle should be in neutral when you turn on esc till the red light, then release set button, full throttle till the solid green light and then brake blinks green, then neutral till solid red

make sure the throttle is not reversed on the transmitter. Just a thought but I don't know if would help at all.

Oops sorry. forgot to reply back. I got it working like 5 minuets after I posted this. the reciever plug was backwards . Dude, this esc rocks!!! drag brake is Knarly!! I did notice a tiny amount of glitching when you barely touch the throttle. Not enough to make the truck move, just barely enough to make the esc start squealing. But it is barely there and only happens if I try to make it happen. Hardly worth mentioning. Im running an Ax10, rooster crawler, 65t, 2.2 mud slingers, soon to be painted blazer body . Im having a blast!!!
