Here are the specs: Controls: Fwd/Brk/rev Input Voltage: 4-10 Cells (stk) 4-8 Cells (mod) On resistance: 0.0038 Frequency: 2000 Hz Power Wires: 15 Gauge Plugs: JST/Bullet BEC: 6.0V / 5.0A Weight (with wires) 2.4 OZ Size: 1.8" x 1.4" x 1" Today I got my Tekin Rebel "2" in the mail. As soon as I got back to my dorm room I stripped the plugs off and put on the deans plug. I am running 2 HS 645mg servos, a 6 cell 3000mah battery, 8 tooth pinions, and for testing purposes only I am running 2 Monster Horsepower stock motors in my clod. The stock (27 turn) motors will give the ESC more of a challenge than lathe motors would. The case of the controller is red, which is a pretty unusual color. A feature I like that I have never had on an esc before is the adjustable reverse delay. The delay can be adjusted from 0 to 4 second before reverse kicks in. So far I have just run it around my room, climbing books, walls, and whatever else I can find. The controller hasn't given me any trouble yet, but I am going to take it out on the rocks on Wed. So I will give an update afterwards.

I wish I could get some pics, but I don't have a digi cam. I will take some regular pics and scan them as soon as I can, but it will probably take a while.

Took the clod out to the rocks today with it's new ESC. I put 3 packs through it with no breaks except for changing packs, about 2 hours of straight running. The Rebel "2" took the abuse very well, only warm after the session. The throttle control is precise, which really helped with the crawling. Anyone looking for a quality esc, I will definately suggest the Rebel 2.

Great info thread ! I just got a Rebal 2 with my custom max crawler and want to do 2 speed shifting. I hope this is not a dumb question What is the advantage of Dual motors ? more tork? What should I use for motors and ESC to handle Crawling and speed ? 1- Use one motor (type ? , 14t or ? ) and keep Rebel 2 ? 2- 3- stick with my dual Integy 55 motors with Rebel 2 Any real knowledge or expeirence feedback greatly appreciated Awesome web site ! thank you

Wow, I never thought I would see this thread again. There is an even more informative thread by Trailerguy here: TEKIN REBEL 2, My $.02 The reason my crawler uses 2 motors is because I run a Clod Buster. It has 2 separate axles that are each powered by a motor. I don't think there is much advantage to running 2 motors in something like a Maxx or TXT. It just seems like extra weight to me, but I don't have any personal experience with those vehicles. You may be able to get more information about that in the Maxx section.
