yea not a good idea to leave it plugged in. I have the same charger as you. It stays on when its plugged in, so...yea...keep them unplugged.

Just as a warning too all.......

If you use a charger with a built in power supply, make sure to monitor and charge outdoors. These so called complete charging system are way to small to be reliable and safe to use unsupervised.

I hate to send a shout out in a negative way but MRC Brain systems are some of the worst.

Superduty97 - Sorry to hear about your charger. If you can spend the extra money, buy a charger that requires a seperate power supply. I personally like the Competition Electronics Pit Bull with a Victor power supply. Pro-Match Batteries is offering a close out on the Victor power supplies for like $40 bucks. This is just what I've used for years and love the way they perform. There are others that work really well such as Novak and Reedy.

Hope this helps!

yea its been around a while... left it plugged in on accident ...

skyjacker sorry we cant all drop 2 bills on a charger

anyway it lasted over a year so im not upset about the money... plus i was thinking of getting a new charger anyway, cause the mrc is not a reliable everyday charger.....and i want to have ability to charge and or peak two batts at once....

anyway its gone gotta stop at the lhs tommorow and look for a new charger ....hopefully with separate power supply, kind of sucks considering i could use a couple new fm recievers and a new esc or two...wish they were like links just whip up a set.... .with the clod and two juggs and tlt the electronics start to get expensive....

I'd call up the manufacturer and bitch them out!! That could get dangerous. I bet if you say it right they'll get you a new one.
