| Heres what I have Rooster titan550 txt choped up chassis also running stock tranny and 9 tooth pinion 3300 7 cell batt. What Can i get for more grunt? I have tried my titan 550 and the stock txt motorand they both blow. i have read that the lathe motors while long in run time don't have the balls to get the job done. i just want a motor that will let me crawl but also get over the ledges. |

Lathe motors are torquey and work great, that's what I run. I also installed a GD-600 reduction unit. My wheelspeed is on the slow side, but I have TONS of torque!! Another combo is a Mag Mayhem motor with a GD-600. That seems to be a good blend of torque and wheelspeed for most people. | |
