I use a futaba magnum 3pm-2.4, and it is awesome. it's the first good radio I've ever had, and it's amazing how much more precise it is than a cheap radio. With the fast servo on my stadium truck, I can let the steering knob bang home, and the front wheels wiggle back and forth as the wheel springs around the resolution is amazing. I still haven't got my dig going yet, but I gotta say 2.4ghz is the way to go. Lots of people use the tq3 with success, and it's priced reasonably, I just don't ever want to worry about crystals or interference. The total lack of glitching is awesome.

tq3 nice and simple, cheap if you drop or break it, and it works perfectly fine
