Interesting. Do people think this body looks like a Dodge?

James Knight did up a body for Proline By The Fire that from distance did look like an Dodge. Its just a generic body that shares many common lines that allow you to interpret the final product. Just ignore the cab thats all lol

I'm not seeing it looking at the Enduro body. Which Dodges exactly - the 80's Rams?

One of the designers said on either IG or FB which Dodge it is modeled after; 80s D150 I think. My knowledge of 80s Dodge trucks ends at the Ramcharger my Dad had when I was a kid.

That's a pretty big stretch. I'm not seeing it, but I'm also not a Dodge fan. Those guys are left out of the new bodies so I'm sure they're panting for an old Dodge Ram body.

I'm just not really a scale fanatic. With a 'dodge' emblem on the back and a grill it's close enough for me. I've been painting out windows on bodies 'till just lately, perhaps one of them will eventually get an interior. For me it's about rock crawling and an occasional competition. Some of the comp guys will start out with minus-60 points for scale bits, I usually have about 25. So I'm not going to win those, but if my driving is good I an score well up into the field. For me it's all about having fun with it.

This is the other reason I'm not a big fan of Class-1 tires either. They look more scale and all, but performance just sucks - the chassis drags on everything. My happy medium is a 4.3 to 4.5" tire. And I could care less if the dif-pumpkin is centered, offset, or if it has portals.

My old brain is easily tricked. If it has a close enough resemblance it clicks in my head.

This is the cool thing about the hobby/sport - you can pursue what interests you. And I'm really excited about the new platform. I built three Vaterras, then got the Axial Blazer, a TRX4 sport kit which is just fantastic - much more than I thought it would be, and now the new Element.

Oh, and I'm not a big Dodge fan-boy either, but I worked at a Dodge dealership when I was in high school, and I learned a ton about working on cars, from mechanics to body and paint, detailing, built a custom van, rebuilt motors, had a ball. I've owned over 45 cars and trucks in my driving career and there were at least a couple of dodges in there, so with all the chevy and jeep bodies I've collected, having one that looks like a Dodge is just peachy.

That bumper is 1000x better. Definitely worth $250.

Ok, I exaggerate, but it does look great.

James designs great stuff, his VS4 is about the same.
He said he was looking at a different nylon, and we will know

Anyone else picking up on all the hints at a kit on their social media the last couple days?

If the rtr is $350 I wonder how they’d price a kit. Already a killer value.

D150, not D50.

I can see the resemblance to the late 80s version.

I dig this thing. Wish I would have gotten in on the Amain coupon before they stopped honoring it. Oh well. I'll snag one on ebay if and when they ever do another coupon.

Roofline on both is wrong squared off, flares on the 50 look close, James used the 150 grill with the bar

Glad they haven't shipped the Enduro Sendero yet, because I'm now all hyped out, and decided I didn't need another scale truck to set on a shelf after a few runs (once the excitement wore off). Canceled my pre-order. I haven't even opened my TRX-4 Sport kit, yet, and picked up my barely run Ascender K10 the other day, realizing it could use some attention. I'm sure the Sendero will be a great rig, and hopefully it'll do well and yield job security for some guys who got hit hard when Axial got bought up with the Hobbico ordeal. Peace out.

Proline has already shown the upcoming Ramcharger body a few places, and it's what needs to be dropped on this chassis (IMHO, of course...)
