Well, after watching the few YouTube videos and now just watched Harley's video from PBTF, I'm really liking this truck. I'm not sure if Harley had the sound turned down or not, but the Enduro Sendero sounded really quiet. I couldn't hear much whine coming from it like I hear on most other rigs.

I think with the right accessories and paint this body could look pretty cool. I like how James Knight added the 80's Dodge front grill on his. I think with that grill it makes the body look a lot like the 80's Dodge pickup.

When the TRX-4 Sport first came out I didn't like that body, but after seeing them with cool paint schemes, it changed my mind about them and I really like the looks of them now.

I have always been an AE fan since my days of racing the RC-10 back in the late 80's and now I'm pretty excited about adding another Associated (Element RC) rig to my collection.

Looking forward to hearing from Harley & Matt on their thoughts after giving these trucks a test at PBTF.

2 piece body with a drop bed
Hard molded body details
beadlocks - looks like black color option will be available
Scale garage printed on the box
Headlight LEDs
SCX similar chassis layout and suspension
Associated shocks, possibly big bore
Includes a 3s lipo
Overdrive built into trans
Includes optional set of gears for more overdrive in trans
Aluminum middle spline on the driveshaft
Steel links
BTA steering
Universals in the front axle
5 slot armature brushed motor
3 channel radio ready for winch

For $350, I’d say that’s pretty good. I like the body and most of those stock features. I’d say they gave more to get excited about instead of another portal vehicle.

Looks like I will have a new crawler on order as soon as my shop can back order it.

The thing I like most about this rig is the fact that they are attempting to standardize things like bumper and trans mounts. The fact that they are "new" to the market I think it really helps that they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel. The trans looks really nice and the standard (scx10 according to Harley?) Mount pattern makes it a viable option for an axial 3 gear replacement. Overall it looks really solid.

SSD has been teasing a new rig in every new release thread here, so let's hope that rig lives up to the hype. But this one is both different and familiar enough to be a contender from launch.

Watched RCD's video... Looks like a solid truck! Lots of nice features. Late to the party, but looks like worth the wait.

That transmission is genius.

I wonder why no other company has tried a transmission like that? The whole truck looks very well thought out and watching the RC Driver video, there seems to be little or no torque twist. Kit please! (although the RTR is tempting)

Another nail in Axial’s coffin. Maybe a handful of nails.

Well done AE. Can’t wait to get one.

Ive enjoyed many comments on this thread by people who are the EXPERTS.

Then I watched three videos by real experts.
This truck is a game changer OOB.
BTA steering, Good shocks, beefed servo, no sintered gears , and no axial plastic! Looks like they learned from the scx10ii"s shortcomings.

For $350 OOB that is a player.

But SSD had better stop the tease as this is real. Im a huge SSD fan, so C'mon Man!

Has wheelbase been mentioned yet?
And yes a dodge grill is what I was thinking it needed too.
But I am wondering what other bodies would fit if anyone noticed wheelbase.

Really tempting.
SSD time for that reveal!

Thcase trans case almost looks like it has the same bolt pattern as the AX10 transmission. I wonder if the Hurtz dig would work with an aftermarket rear output.

Hopefully they will put out the parts for that transmission. I really need that for an ar44 based shafty that I'm workin on. But, anyway really impressive specs. What is the width on these axles?

Preordered. SSD better get theirs out quickly before the preorder time on the Element runs out. I’m sure theirs will be an attractive piece but enough with the waiting game. Do it or don’t.

Preordered one as well. Checks all the boxes the axial UMG doesn’t. I like the trans AND that motor. I run that 5slot already for a while in one of my trucks. Buttersmooth :-)

I think I may wait until they are on the market and then keep an eye out for a 15% off eBay coupon. $297.49 sounds about right.
