Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! Next time use a katana, it will fit better! But seriously thats rad and cant wait to see where this is going! |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! With that body cut like that.. you're going to be super light with a lot of body clearance! |

Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! That Jimny Enduro looks promising "thumbsup" After a lot of messuring, cutting, fitting, cutting again, thats how it looks now. I am really happy how it turned out. There is still a lot to do, but I like how the cage sits and that I could use the whole bed. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...995bd07833.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...726d01731d.jpg Gesendet von meinem TA-1004 mit Tapatalk |

Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! Threw on proline xj body Got my ripsaws unmounted from the glue on wheels an onto the Sendero beadlocks. Much better cog now, also did rear shock/link mount mod and rear upper link risers. Besides 11.xx% od that's all I've done to it, and wow it goes almost anywhere! |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! I built it and it’s currently sitting as a slider with ifs, servo and motor. Will be using mock up tires tonight and cutting the body Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! Put some shrink rc body mounts and went from the trailwalker to this https://i345.photobucket.com/albums/...sv6gapmhf.jpeg |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! 1 Attachment(s) Attachment 388008 Well can’t leave well enough alone. Ordered some rear links from associated and shortened the wheel base to 11.8. After I measured it is actually 11.5. Install the bed on the cab and fits really good. The Tamiya hilux clone body and bed works out ok. I didn’t need to cut the bed to fit the shock towers. Lays perfectly flat I also have the front and rear lights in it. Still using the trailwalker bumper. I’m thinking I like this better than the cage. Be safe everybody |

Do you have a build thread or pics of how the body mounts look? |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! 1 Attachment(s) Thanks. I do not have a build thread. But the body mounts are from shrink rc. I’ve attached the link and posted a picture for you. I’m using the hilux body which works out good because the bed isn’t deep like the RC4WD bed which you have to cut to accommodate the shock towers. Hope this helps. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F402096316071 Attachment 388089 |

The Shrink RC mounts look nice. I'm glad to see that you are still able to use the larger battery tray. |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! 1 Attachment(s) Yeah I have too many full size batteries and did t want to start buying shorty packs. Anything over 5200 mah won’t fit with the interior. I painted up the factory trailwalker wheels and put the little tires on for a bit. Looks ok. Attachment 388110 |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! 5 Attachment(s) Attachment 388124 Attachment 388125 Attachment 388126 Attachment 388127 Attachment 388128 So because we can’t really go anywhere and practicing social distancing so this virus will hopefully go away I decided to work on the element/ Yota again. So I fount a place to mount the waterproof receiver box so I can put the receiver and my light controller in just in case. I don’t normally run in water but a little piece of mind.i did have to trim the bed. I need some gas cans now. |
Re: What I'm doing to my ENDURO! 4 Attachment(s) So I picked up an axial blazer bumper , trimmed the bed and than I needed to drill some new holes to suck the bumper in some. Than I pained up my shell from the bruiser and mounted it. Attachment 388489 |
