Good question! I'm not sure. I don't think I've seen them before.

I'll have to check them out.

Here are the caps I found. They say they will fit a RC10B4, so when I get a chance, I'll have to compare my B4 shocks to my Enduro's to see if they are the same diameter.

I have a set of the AE bleeder caps that I broke trying to get the pivot ball installed. Maybe I’ll get another set and try to not break them.

Since I have been laid off from work and on lock down since last Friday, I decided it was about time to get out of the house and do a little tiny truckin'! I met up with a friend that has also been laid off and did some trailing out behind his house. It was a nice little spot away from people and all the bad sh!! that is happening in the world today!

And since my Enduro has been collecting dust on my shelf since last December. I figured it was finally time to take it out and try out all the upgrades that I had installed since the last time I had it out.

The first time I had it out I didn't really have time to get the feel of how this rig would perform. I only ran it for about 15 minutes. This time I was able to spend a couple hours trailing thru the woods and crawling over a random piles of rock and concrete.

I was really impressed with how the Enduro handled. The suspension is soooo smooth and with the added weight it climbed very well.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the stock General Grabber tires since my goto tire is usually the Proline Hyrax, Pitbull OG Rockbeast & Voodoo OG KLR.
I must say they did extremely well! They seem to be a great tire for trailing and had enough grip to climb obstacles. They also seem to clean themselves out nicely too!

There were a couple other mods I did that I didn't previously mention. I added the Trailwalker front bumper and added a few scale items to the bed that I 3D printed. The Trailwalker front bumper fits this body well and has a great approach angle. I also added the VP VS4-10 PRO rear bumper. It tucks right in behind the body and helps to protect the body from catching on rocks. I may "bob' the bed a little so that the bumper sits just on the outside of the body. As it sits now, the bumper mounts are not long enough to allow the bumper to sit on the outside of the body.

Here are a some pics of the fun!

Awesome, glad you took the Element for a ride, to be honest I'm really impressed of how capable it is, I'm currently building a custom/Enduro and have another one with the IFS and I really love both of them.

Nice! I still haven't finished my build. Mostly because Amain is closed for the time being and my focus has been on upgrading my Prusa 3D printer.

Glad you got the green machine out to play for a little while and had fun. I never ended up running the general grabbers but heard positive things from those that ran them. The trailwalker bumper was a good improvement.

Pics came out great.

I agree! Element did a great job designing it.

Yeah, it was a good time and the Enduro did awesome!

I bought the IFS kit when it first came out. My plan is to buy a Trailwalker and add the IFS to it.

Thank you! Luckily for me though, my layoff is just temporary. I'm supposed to go back to work April 6. But that will depend on if GM, Ford, Chrysler & Honda go back to work making vehicles.

Thanks!

I plan on using my 2 week "stay at home" to finish up builds that have been on hold since now I have all kinds of time!

Yeah, having a 3D printer sure has been nice. Mine has been running non-stop everyday!

Thanks!

It was great to finally get out and get some "trigger" time! I haven't had my rigs out since last fall! Now that the weather is finally getting better I'm hoping to get out more often.

I was surprised at how well the Grabbers did. They seem to be a great tire for trailing. I'm not sure how well they will be on some serious rock crawling though.

Your Enduro is looking great! It's good to hear you'll be able to go back after things get better.

I just finished installing the IFS on my Trailwalker. I'm still not entirely sure how I want to set that truck up yet, but I've really enjoyed this platform and how it handles out on the rocks.

Thanks soze!

Looking forward to seeing your Trailwalker with the IFS.

I would like to keep the 1.55" wheels and tires, but not sure how much it will hurt ground clearance. Mainly the bottom a-arm clearance.

The last time I had the Enduro out, I was having problems with the body getting pushed out over the sliders. Luckily I had already Gorilla taped the sides, so the body did not rip and I was able to just push the body back into place. But after pushing it back in over and over, that got really old fast!

I found a solution to the problem. I was searching for 3D printed parts on Thingiverse, and found that someone had designed side plates that bolted onto the body just above the slider to stiffen up the body.

I want to give a shout out and thanks to Thingiverse user @NXT3DRC for designing and sharing these files. These side plates printed good and bolted up nice to the body.

Here are a few pics:

One other thing I forgot to mention when I had the Enduro out was that the stock servo would randomly make a noise like it was trying to turn too full lock when I was driving straight. It is a noise I have never heard any other servo make. It was a weird noise, but the servo never failed to turn the whole time during the run.

I plan to swap out the servo sometime today before it does decide to die. I'll post updates as soon as I get the new servo installed.

I concur!

Those sideplates are a super idea, well thought-out and attractive, to boot.

Thanks guys! The side plates made a huge difference! The body is solid now and stays put!

Here a few pics of the last outing with the Enduro a couple days ago. I stole my wheels and tires off my Origin to see how they would do on the Enduro.

I gotta say, the more I get this rig out, the more I fall in love with it! It performs really well!

The smaller Pitbull Rock Beast tires did awesome! This set of tires are a few years old and have always been my favorites!

Very cool. Those Rock Beasts are the perfect size tire for that truck.
