Looking good Mike!

Is that the Reedy Radon 16t 5-slot? I couldn’t tell which one it was from your pic.

I just put the 16t in my Marlin. It is a nice smooth motor. I’m thinking about getting one for my Enduro.

Yep, not sure if its gonna stay here, ive got a 13t Crawlmaster in another rig on 3s, this is a 2s truck so I might swap to keep the trucks even speedwise.
Kit is done, no batt straps or bumpers on yet, laying out wiring so truck can run.trimmed body, has the awful double bumper issue, exacto will solve it

Body a bit high, more to come on that.
Shocks are the highlight of the kit, OMG smoooooooooothhhhhhh!!!
Almost like sipping a 100yr Tequila!
Seems a bit stiff, but rx and box, winch and controller and bumpers will change that.

Well some interesting tidbits, when assembling the front axle the chub cracked, not sure why, but sent an Email out, Wednesday, my new parts will be here Monday ! Thats Ca to Fl , in less than a week ! Thats a great job Associated!! Also got the metal hubs for the spur in. Biggest work was today taping, taping, taping, taping.............
As this is for the Wife some interesting graphics and lettering are coming, sure hope I can get the rest done as clean.

Well its almost there!
Great kit, fit and function.
Inner fenders needed a minor trim to clear the Comanche body, RR10 interior fits great.

Mounted up the body with reliable ring magnets, snaps on, stays on.
Glaring need is a front bumper, have to check the budget.

RX box mounted to the extra rear brace, antenna clears interior.

Why doesn’t anyone believe it really is for the wife!! I will admit the Fuchsia works well with white. This was my first lettering job, relearned why I like liquid mask so much.
My prep time would easily have been 60% less vs taping.

I will admit I tried your approach! I showed the pics to my boss lady, she really like it too. I said he's building it for his wife. I said " I could build you" and got cut off with the "eye roll" and a " what ever but nice try". I don't think she bought it either! I'm going to have to try the liquid mask!! masking sucks!!

Default I’ve got (Steel) Balls

I get the grief at my lhs, as they know me. My goal is simple, I spend hours at my bench, then go crawl on the weekend, while my wife is at the pool. So we can crawl together, get hot, go to the pool and I can cool off, and she continues to bake! I also have to maintain hers, so its simple and light!
Just finished painting the inner fenders, white backer then duplicolor bed liner, great texture and seems tough.

The Enduro is looking really nice Mike!

It's cool your wife is going to give it a try! I hope she enjoys it as much as we all do! I still haven't talked mine into it yet. I really think she would like it if she tried it!

Update time. Comduro is alive and well. Paint cured, magnets stick and body is done. Inner fenders are rustoleum bed liner, but I shot the white for contrast, servo winch and front bumper (GS01)will be here Friday. Ever since I finished this we have had a slow moving monsoon rain daily, so waiting for some dry time!

Nicely done, sir - and the GS01 seems to be the bumper to get - the GS02 doesn't provide as much grille protection.

Also - winch fairlead available - and there's versions with a silver or a black aluminum plate out there:

That looks awesome Mike! I'm liking them colors and the body! I would even consider running them colors on one my rigs. Years ago when I ran 1/10 offroad, my Team Losi JRX-2 was painted up fluorescent green, pink and white. Wow did it stand out, but that was the whole reason behind it. I never lost my car on the track! And after awhile the colors really grew on me.

I see you have the VXT tires mounted up. You going to keep them on there?

I just mounted my new set of VXT's from my VS4-10 Pro on my new set of Enduro plastic RTR wheels. Believe it or not the bolted right up without any issues. Was a piece of cake! If you remember when we first got our VS4-10's how hard they was to mount up. These new tire/foam combo go together nicely.

I like it! Nice home for those vanquish tires, too.

May have to give this liquid mask thing a shot some day.

Balls of steel ordered, joining the club!

Those Vanquish tires look like they really woke up with some wear on 'em...

Wish I was excited about them....
I’ve messed with foams and I still prefer Growlers

Well...

I have my tire fetish - and while those VXT tires rubber is wearing in nicely, I'll admit to never being excited about them.

I'm particular about tread patterns... even to the point of losing in absolute grip.

Just makes everything more challenging!

A shrink would have a field day, I tell ya.

I do use the VXTs on a couple of rigs, using the original plastic beadlocks as spares.....not too top heavy

Ok so I’ve finally finished this truck, and went on the maiden voyage. Then I promptly went back to the bench.

Remember I stated this is a 2s rig? Well the 16t was too slow for me. So mom gets a 13t Crawlmaster and the 16t is in Bea now.

Added a couple things, servo winch is run thru the GMade bumper and fair lead, shackles still in shipping.
I haven’t gotten a rear bumper, as I’m really not sure where we will go. I will leave the fuschia lexan for now. I did do an interior from a bomber, waiting on heads so it can get glued in.

We hopefully will get out tomorrow for Moms rookie orientation and crash test session........ with my SCX10ii running 3s and the 16t, speeds should be equal.
