Sheesh that pic of the kit seems like its becoming a meme or something.

Would you mind um.. ah... measuring your balls?

I'm hoping my spare balls will slide into these nicely

I, too, ordered the steel balls and the frame mounting plate while waiting for the kit. Great minds, Mike.

Also ordered these since they just came into stock.

My Balls ? Or you mean the Enduro Balls of steel!
They are 5.87mm (6mm)
Length about 7.5mm.

I did notice the shock balls are different size.

Hmm, looks like they built in a slipper eliminator as these should slot into the spur gear with the slipper pads removed similar to the Gen 8

As the truck is for the wife it will be only 2s, so I’m holding off on those for now. I did order the hard servo mount / skid and inner fenders. Im hoping they do ship on 7/11, but thats outa my hands!

Nice balls! I wouldn’t normally say something like that, but the do look mighty fine!

I just ordered 2 sets of the balls and inner fender kit. I had originally had 3 sets of balls in my cart, then I realized that the shock balls were different so I ordered them balls too.

That’s a lot of talk of balls!

Well I hate to break it to you Brian, but you’re 4balls short, as you need two sets for all 4 shocks!

Brad Geck said two bags of each!

I’m keeping my plastic shock balls and not swapping them for other balls.

Much better to replace plastic shock balls than replace worn out aluminum shock caps. Once sand and dirt get in there, it can grind out the shock cap pretty well.

That was also my thought. Also grit can jam the ball .

I agree also.

Just a thought, back in the day on my RC-10’s, I used nitro fuel tubing over the mounting bolt. It gave it a nice cushion and let the shock move freely.

For now my RTR has the plastic shock caps, so I will use the metal balls for now. I will get the alum down the road and use fuel tubing.

Default I’ve got (Steel) Balls

Well the wait is getting to me, Did get my first batch of ProLine RC Paint...... I hope it sprays as good as it looks , thinnest WB paint I’ve seen, I see why pressure can be so low!
But as my body and inner fenders have yet to arrive and its raining again, still, today..... I was bored so I decided to try a tape mask practice using leftover Tamiya paints, looks OK, Next two will be better!

Got The E Mail Today!!!!
On Tue, June 11th, 2019 you requested to be put on a waitlist at Team Associated for part #40102 (ENDURO TRAIL TRUCK, BUILDERS K). We now have some good news; your wait is over!

Due to high demand, we have reserved you one of these items. You have until Thu, July 11th, 2019 at 3:38pm PST to complete your purchase on this item, otherwise it will be offered to the next person on the wait list.

Please note: Selecting express shipping at checkout will not make your item arrive faster. We will be shipping orders out at different times based on the ship-to address so all FastTrack orders arrive to customers on the same day.

So pulled the trigger, Direct from Associated, and cancelled the BO at A Main.... When I called yesterday Customer service guy(nope I'm not squeelin) at 5:00 eastern, he was going to talk to the buyer, and call Email me.... He didn't, so A Main lost out, and the rest of my goodies from them have already shipped.

Looking like the enduro....is in sight!

Gents, the steel balls on the lower shock eyelet is the standard ball - same as links. The shock mount ball on the tower is the extended version. Thinking one bag should do you...
