I may be the oddball here, but I actually like the short stocky Endero Sendero lid. I did buy a new clear one to paint up, but knows when I'll get around to it.

Not at all, I like it too. It's just all the pictures of 6 of them lined up in a row that makes me want to do something different

The fordero was a very early mock up pic.
I didnt change anything just dropped the ford on the precut body post holes from the ascender, and dropped the ascender cage on the back.
Much work lies ahead, but not so much to be difficult ;)
*Oh those are 1.55 wheels btw, on 4.19 pit bull growlers. I intend to put the 1.9 enduro wheels back on. Or at least 1.9 of some sort... I'm tired of "tiny tires" lol

That body is significant to me for a few reasons. Ernie knows why.

Been saving it for a reason ;) for a "serious work/kid gloves off" sort of build.

"Killer" is now the fordero "ziggy". My pops nickname in the army. Thanks for sending that cab on the rent to own rig.

I also stick with the stock body for now. But working on adding a cage and some other stuff. Maybe work with some colors, bomber interior and going for a race/baja truck style.
But I have a plan if the thin body gets too damaged - SR5 from proline.

When I first saw it, I thought man, that thing is butt ugly. After all these marketing campaign since BTF, I started to like it a lot. The only reason why I wouldnt buy it for my future kit version is because its paper thin, flexy and brittle. If they happen to release a proper durable Sendero clear body, itd definitely be in my kit.

One of the guys from Element shared on their FB group that the clear body is molded in thicker lexan than the RTR version.

Good call. This would be really cool. They also have a ford 150, no?
Would be interesting to know, why they did not went with one of them. Maybe the licenses are restricted.

Here's what I'd like to try - whenever it finally is carried by a US distributor - the MST JP1 313mm wb body:

I actually have one on the way to me as we speak that will find its home on the enduro chassis kit.

I've never had a Jeep body installed on an RC, and it's definitely my favorite Jeep body out there - lovin' the extra plastic parts, especially the grille with the radiator decal behind it.

I have some special "secret" parts that I'd be mounting on that body as well...

I'm a longtime jeep enthusiast so the grill is a sore spot for me, luckily someone on shapeways already designed a proper 7 slot grill to replace it.

Very cool!

It doesn't bother me as much as I was thinking of it as a custom aftermarket grille - also, I like cutting grille bars out and using metal mesh in the opening.

I like how it's ready for LEDs and the hood is flat, no scoops or ducting like the more recent Axials.

Funny how MST used to use Tamiya bodies and now either makes equal to Tamiya quality bodies or is getting them from the same source they do, it's miles better than the ProLine bodies I've seen lately.

I completely forgot about this body. I remember liking it when that rig first came out and was looking forward to picking one up when they were available.

Canít wait to see it if you get one!

Thanks for the reminder!
