I selected the Axial Wraith Spawn body for its excellent approach/departure angles. Also allowed me to pull the side rails all the way onboard. Found excellent bumpers too.

I just finished up painting this Proline Jeep body for the Enduro kit that I'm going to build this week on vacation.

He’s such a cool guy and had the truck we all wanted growing up, back when you were lucky if you even knew someone with a 4wd, lol. I got pretty close with the green. Looked at the color matches for 1972 truck and man, they had great color choices in the seventies!

Nice green there!
And its crazy what you said, my pop had a 79 f150 and we used to live in Redlands and camp near needles

Someone local was selling a nicely finished Vanquish Origin body, and I found a thread here saying the Enduro Sendero body fit right on the VS4-10 with holes and all, so I decided to see if it worked the other way around. Just needed to adjust the body mount height, and I am ordering Vanquish bumpers to match.

Just tossed this together if you want to go the hard body route. I got the body mounts from eBay.

Well today I finally got the wheel base fixed for the hard body. I used the 11.8 links for the rear with the revo short end links part #5347. I then flipped the brass link ends to make the rear ride height correct. And finally installed the Tamiya interior. Over all I’m pleased
