Have you look at a Nuker body? It would be a good fit for this chassis.

It's funny that you would mention that. The first kit that I was going to put the PW body on was the HPI venture kit. I ended up with a Nukizer body when I couldn't work the PW around the battery tray.

I'm glad I found out about the battery tray and the Power Wagon body. I was all set to pull the trigger on that body, and I like yourself only have full size battery packs. Plan B

Any pics from the side and back?

I'm thinking about adding the Lexan bed back into the cage. I'm just not sure at this point.

Mighty Moggie power!

So you will be changing the wheelbase, correct?

Yeah, wheelbase has been shortened and it was stupid easy. I'll get my thread updated soon.

You have to delete the HUGE receiver box to fit the Power Wagon body.

Oh, yer killin me. I just couldn't pull the trigger on the $95 for all the parts for the Axial mog. Tried the Tamiya but it was too short. That's gonna be a sweet rig for sure.

Will it fit behind /under the cab?

This does clear the back of mine, but my body’s wider.

You're killing me Smalls! Between this and having to run a Shorty battery, this body is out for me. Maybe I'll get the 1985 Toyota sr5, or the Nukizer. I'm going to make it look like an old weathered rusty POS anyway.

Had a feeling that was yours I saw on bookface. Great job!

That cage looks like it was a PITA...

Like Shinchu, I went with the Vaterra 1968 F100 truggy and the 11.8" wheelbase, but I wanted a lower stance, which meant shorter tires (1.9 Braven Berserkers) and some trimming. I also made a rear hinge mount for the cage. Here's how it looked after painting but before detailing:

I'm happy with the stance and the overall look. Okay with but not crazy about the truck as a whole, but that's another story.

Anyone know if the Proline Toyota 1985 Hilux body fits okay? It says It's a 12.3" wheelbase but i'd like to make sure before ordering one.
https://www.prolineracing.com/bodies...dy-cab-bed.asp

I saw a proline toyota body in a previous post in this thread, but it says (honcho) after the body name and I wasn't sure if it was the same one as the hilux.
