Default Gonna keep it stock... Right.

Hey all, picked up an Enduro today after not having a trail truck besides my tf2 for about a year now. I haven't had a box stock truck on the trails since 2014 when I bought my first scx10, and right off the rip this thing impresses me. The throttle is a little touchy, though I reversed the motor leads and the throttle trim and it seemed to help. I have changed one thing, I put a vanquish servo horn on the truck just because I don't care for the plastic ones. I also pushed the stock sliders in a notch, turned the shock collars up a hair to try to eliminate a bit of tire rub, and put some gorilla tape around the bottom of the body.

The tires seem pretty good for out of box, the stubby battery tray fits my 4600 2s packs from my sand scorcher perfectly, the 5 pole motor is pretty trick, and the rtr servo isn't too bad either.

I'm excited to get this thing out and about a bit, and see how it does on some real trails.

Nice man. So far I've been pretty impressed with the Enduro's capability out of the box. Taking care of the bumpers and just adding metal beadlocks for that little bit of weight helped a lot.

Got a couple things done on the truck, still haven't ventured out but had a buddy with a fresh 10.2 kit come over today and do his maiden voyage in the back yard rock pile. His is on Proline swampers, and the enduro on it's stock setup will pretty much hang with it everywhere. It's interesting how much lighter the enduro is than the builders kit 10.2 though, even with no bumpers on his truck.

So far mods on the Enduro are a 16t pinion from my stash, a pair of Pod lights wired in to the stock aux power port in the esc with a splitter and mounted in stock holes in the floorboard, trimmed just a bit off the corners of the front bumper and made a new set of holes to move it back a tad, trimmed a small bit off the body in the rear to move the back bumper inward a tad, vented the wheels on the inside to get them breathing, and added some stickers. Loving the truck so far

I've been playing with the rock sliders and they seem like the stock location sticks out too much, and going in one notch wants to squeeze the body, so may end up trying to slot them and see how that goes.

Added some cheapie shackles on the bumper and went exploring in the swamp today. Truck continues to impress me at just how capable it is as an rtr. The tires hook well, the suspension works great, and the stock motor has tons of power and still crawls smoothly.

Picked up a knight customs sr5 bar and some Kc lights, and a set of Brass Beef patties for it. Had to ditch the stock center caps but oh well haha

When you say the stock center caps, you mean the ones that screw on and look like a locking hub?

Also, where did you find those patties? I can;'t find anywhere with them available? Everywhere I look they are out of stock.

Yeah the ones that thread over the hex and have the method decals. Locked Up Rc had them in stock, they might still have more

Haven't messed with it much lately, picked up a new 1:1 project that I'd like to clone the enduro to eventually.

Haven't had a ton of time to mess with the rc's lately, but got the enduro and my Tf2 out today with some friends at a local course, it really impressed me how well it did for a very lightly modded rtr. I've been collecting parts to clone it into my 1:1, so that will start happening soon.

Good looking 1:1, I'm guessing an '86? I had an '84 SR5 and miss it nearly every day!
