It's like I have ADD. I see something new and I buy it.

I have a Mamba X and Slate 2280KV motor ready to go. I'm not sure about the wheels and tires yet, but I have a 1946 ProLine Power Wagon body just waiting for paint.

Good news. You don’t have ADD. Bad news, like me you’re an addict. Sounds like both our families need to hold an intervention. In the last 6 months... Demon SP4, Gmade BOM, UMG10, new hard body and metal cage on my 10.2. Upgrades to Redcat Gen 8. And only reason I got the RTR Gen 8 was cause I was out of state in Boise for a week for work and saw a great place to crawl. So had to go to a hobby shop and get something to drive. Just like any drug, this damn hobby is sending me to the poor house[emoji23]

Am I an addict if I only want 1 of everything?

In my mind I’d say not at all. Seems very reasonable and sane to me. Lol, my wife however may ague that point.

If there has to be an addiction in your life, let it be like this. It hurts no one and makes you happy.

RC has been a passion of mine for nearly three decades. Another of mine is known as “Black rifle disease!”. Talk about going bankrupt, lol!

If any addiction would be labeled as good, it would be RC. Surprisingly, My wife would agree. Plus, it's something that my son and I can do together. We've found that crawling and driving slow is much more fun and much better quality time than driving fast with short course trucks and Buggies

Re: It's like I have ADD. I see something new and I buy it.

ADD diagnosis confirmed. I have had the kit since Monday and have found everything else under the sun besides build. I don't regret the hiking, fishing, beer brewing and putt putt playing with my kids, but I do wish there were more hours in the day sometimes.

I got the chassis assembled and as I was already starting to play with my 46 Power Wagon body, I decided that it needed a truggy cage instead of a bed. I was looking around and didn't see any cages that really looked good with that narrow body and inspiration struck me. I yanked the 66 C10 cab and cage off of my Trail Honcho and with the help of some longer body posts left over from my VS4-10 build I was able to find a body that I think fits my purposes. This will now be the second kit that I intended to put the Power Wagon body on and abandoned it in favor of something else. The good news is that my SCX10ii needs a body and I know it will fit perfectly.

6 days in and this is all of the building that I have actually gotten around to doing.

This is the body mocked up. I'll run this initially, bit I'm already thinking about picking up a new C10 cab and painting it up.

I agree. I use to race back in my younger years. Stadium, Short Course and Nitro truck but a find trailing and crawling more relaxing. I love to build and modify as well. Coming from a Mil/LEO background, it’s good to have a hobby I can relax doing. The wife is happy with it too. Keeps me out of trouble, lol!

I just went and did Pokemon Go with my son yesterday for the first time. He loves it! Walking around a local parking lot with 200 other people. It was good quality time though since he was teaching me how to do it.

How does the battery tray attach to the chassis? Just curious.

There is a chassis brace that the tray attaches to.

Well, the body from my Honcho didn't line up as well as I had hoped once I got everything assembled. On to plan B.

Body post holes making alignment off?

It looks like it just needs to move forward just a tad. Really like the 66 c10. Plan B a new clear 66 c10?
