Looks really good. I like the flake in the paint. Is the lexan any thicker on the clear body? Have fun out there. |

Possibly, it does feel a little thicker, but not up there with Proline or Axial etc for thickness. I radiused the cuts for the sliders, so hopefully it'll prove a little tougher. Fun starts onight with the BBQ and associated (pun!?) beers! Last edited by Old n ratty; 07-20-2019 at 07:38 AM. Reason: spelling | |

Number plates suit the truck body very well, and I'm a fan of those Krait Volk replica wheels - AND I love that ScalerFab bumper, very racy indeed!

a few notes, went on the Louise Griffin tyres as it was pretty dry and I like the scale look of them. Good choice for the first few of the seven stages, but not so good when I did get muddy. Scalerfab bumper a big improvement over stock- natch! But the sharp corners can get hung up in nadgery stuff. But meh, looks ace and again is a huge improvement. Body has done OK, with quite a few severe rolls- radiused cuts for the sliders help with stress and it still looks good, not seen any tears. Best of all, for a truck with tyres not best suited to the conditions today 3rd equal in class! Get in. Few extra little tweeks and it'll be a reet good 'un! |

Looks pretty good! I'm going to have to pick up a clear body sooner or later.
