Default Winch options

I've got my Enduro close to where I want it, I've got ScalerFab bumpers, hard plastics, Amazon beadlocks with Hyrax's and the utility bed. Swapped to a HW1080 and one of the Reedy servos (since my RTR servo self destructed on the second run). Now I want to add a servo winch. I've looked into the Powershift RC stuff but I'm not sure which will work best. I like the PST-200 low pro series, or maybe one of the Roadrunners with the spool. I'm not sure if I'll ever truly use it (I have one the RC4WD Warn's on my Wraith) but you never know where you'll end up! I tried to send them an email but it was returned as undeliverable.

Thanks in advance for any info or recommendations!

KMS winch and a HEYOK controller. all you will ever need. should even play nice with the RTR radio TX/RX.
KMS winch's all in one place

Wow fifty bucks for winch and controller?
Is that a seperate remote or 3rd ch operated?
I'm considering a seperate controller key fob doohickey to keep my 3rd ch open for... Things? ;)

I have a cheap 20kg 360° servo and a rope drum from ali. Added some fishing line and there it is, my 20$ servo winch. I'll see how it holds up. But so far so good.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Reef's version. It should be delivered tomorrow. I'll post some reviews once I get some time on the trail with it. Thanks to those that posted the versions that they came up with!

hey guys don't forget you need something to regulate those servo winches or it could creep on you and either let all the line out or pull tight and burn out. that's why i linked the heyok controller.

*just read the info on the reef's unit at rpp. i guess it has a "built in" controller?
https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/ref-s43.htm

let us know how it works, yeah?

I'm using this with the 3rd channel on the original radio. Controller is in fact built in. Works great so far.

Good tip! I already orderd that drum, but that servo is already 360 degrees, so you do not need to change anything.

I’m very pleased with the Reef’s 422 that I’m using. I have zero issues with clearance, creep or even pulling anything up or dead lifting my rig. Thought it’s expensive I completely recommend it.
