| Will an Axial SCX10 II battery tray fit?
I found these carbon battery trays on eBay that look like they will reduce weight and let you mount the battery lower (both lowering CG). Does anyone know whether they will fit or are the mounting screws a different distance apart on the Enduro? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fibe...oAAOSwCildCaUU |

Interesting. I know I saw a company online somewhere that made a lower batt box. Can't remember where.

Yeah if you have a printer the STL files are available for free. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3859065 Could that tray be made to fit probably, will it fit without modification, not sure. I'd imagine that you at least need to slot 2 of those uh.. slots. Or maybe you can get away with just using 2 bolts. The battery tray bolts on with 4 bolts towards the center of the tray like so: I know carbon fiber is lighter and stronger than steel but when compared to plastic is it really any lighter? Density of carbon fiber = 2.00 g/cm3 PETG (3D printing material I used) is 1.5 g/cm3 So no carbon fiber is not lighter than plastic unless the volume is small enough to offset the higher density.
