Default Alternate body mounting options

I know there's some magnetic kits and such for the SCX10 and some others. Are there any alternate body mounting options for the Enduro that will fit atm?
And how well do they work? Are the magnets strong enough your body won't come off during rollovers and such? never used one before.

I HATE clips and holes. So I use ring magnets.shoe gooed to stock posts, shortened two holes.

No under body shots on this body, here’s another mounted the same way

As long as you use 4 or more pair the body will stay quite well. If you barrel roll it will pop off, but drops on easy

i was looking at making my own with some magnets from ebay. Pretty much the same way you have them mounted on your! So glad to see it works lol. I was looking at these, any idea what "strength" I need?

My issue is I just painted a new proline toyota body for mine and my blind ass made the front mounting holes way off center. I would still use pins in the back but I'm trying to fix the crooked body (which is tweaking my OCD pretty hard, ) without having to ream a second set of holes, so patching the holes and using something like magnets on the front seemed to be the way to go.

I just picked up some barrel magnets. I’ve used those counter sunk ones in the past and they are ok. But I think the rings are going to be better because the post should poke out a bit helping it stay in place. Those counter sunk ones don’t do that. So a hit to the side will knock them off.

Rings are the only way as they self center.

As you can see the hole is1/4”, perfect to go around the posts. Use clear tape between them so the shoe goo doesn’t bond.

I'm using magnets for the cage because I did not want to drill it. It works well enough.

Hey, SledgehogRC - once you've got your mounts corrected, make a "power bulge" or scoop for your hood to best hide the holes - you can just pretend your Toy has a Buick Regal GN V-6 motor swap...

This is a great idea. Makes the body look cleaner with no holes.

As a tip. Shoegoo works great to mount magnets to body or a body mount you designed. Look up for some Redcat Gen8 builds, lot of them upgraded to magnets. Might help as inspiration for your Element.

Also, RC Addict offers a Incognito Body Mount for the Element Enduro Sendero.

The use velcro, but you might be able to addapt magnets.
