| Where's all the brass stuff?
Just bought my enduro last week and was able to take it on a 4 day camping trip. Before I even hit the trails I swapped the servo for a hitec 7950 and added my BEC. That was the only change from stock. It's a really fun and capable truck but it definitely needs some axle weight. I'd like to have some brass c-hubs and knuckles and maybe the axle link mounts too. I really don't want to add any weight that would be rotating with the wheels (brake disks) to save rotational weight. I've seen someone use the ar44 yeah racing c-hubs but wasn't 100% sure of the fit, and I'd rather have something black to not stand out. ( I guess I could always paint them) If there are any manufacturers out there reading this please make some more stuff for this truck! |

The world's supply of brass is currently being used to make unnecessary TRX4 parts, you'll have to check back when the brass supply gets renewed or they figure out how to make Traxxas bumper mounts from something heavier like tungsten or dark matter. Beef Tubes should have brass knuckles and axle tubes out soon though. |

The axle with parts to kind of show the progression. Here is the weight with axle ready to mount. I haven't screwed in the brass shaft to the pumpkin, I need to orient the shock and link mount so they are positioned right. As it sits, I have 40 hours in design and machining and several hundred $ into test parts. I may do just a few of these or maybe a small run. As you can see I have moved my tie rod from BTA steering to the front. I like to clock my axles for a little more kick back than the stock set up will allow. They can be built as stock but you would need to use the stock knuckles. I could design something to be able to use the BTA with this set up, but SSD and Beef tube already have that covered and coming down the pike. They can also be built with the SSD brass knuckles which would add about 5 more grams of weight to the set up. Fifty + degrees of turning clearance. Installed. Its not going to be a direct swap. Had to move the upper shock mounting to the rear holes. I moved the steering to the front of the axle so I could clock it more than stock. They can be built with the stock BTA steering if you want to keep it. I had to adjust the length of the tie rod, steering link, and upper third link. I think most of you guys would be able to take care of all this with no problem. A couple views from the front, most every thing where it should be. Steering angle is as good as stock, maybe even a little better. Compressed, And not, everything smooth with no binding. Last edited by CODYBOY; 09-03-2019 at 03:03 PM. | |

It's all coming very soon. It takes time to measure, design, prototype, test, adjust, produce, pack and finally sell. We will have C hubs, knuckles, diff covers and link mounts ready in a few weeks. Less than 3 months is pretty fast really.

Waiting on the SSD and beeftubes stuff as well. I settled for some Beef Patties and SCX10 II brass Chubs in the meantime.

Beeftubes announced some brass parts on their Facebook page. Beef tips are already available: https://www.beeftubes.com/store/p316..._-_BRASS_.html And brass knuckles are announced: And they have been teasing some photos of more Element stuff: |
