Default Shock oil?

For those of you who are building the kit or making changes to the RTR, what shock oil are you settling on? I'm hoping to be able to start with one that works well because I'm planning on building the kit while I'm on vacation and won't have my full assortment of shock oils.

Default Shock oil?

In my kit with full aluminum shocks

40 up front. 55 in the rear, as I didn’t have 60.
I also have gone one grade softer on springs (white?)

wow, that's a lot thicker than I was anticipating! I think my kit came with 300CST (not real far from 30wt), and the part number in the manual specifies 30wt.

That was too light for me, after my VS4 10 build, that was my starting point and worked well in a droop config with light springs.

I went with the stock oil and it's too stiff for me. Just ordered lighter springs and some 20 wt.

That weight is what I use in My Traxxas UDR

For the Element I run 20wt front and rear and it's an absolute champion. 25wt is most I'd run

Everybody is all over the place on this, so I guess I'll try the stock kit oil for now.
