Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Very excited for these. Knuckles, link mounts, and diff covers will be ordered ASAP. Rear axle weights look nice too. Any axle housings in the works? Or I suppose a better question is if the BTA knuckles work with the diamond housings and pinion location. Hmm. |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Yesss this is perfect! When's retailers having them? Also what is the added weight of the components? I didn't see anything on the site |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Those diff covers! |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Total awesomeness! (but) I sure was hoping for aluminum C-hubs as well... |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts @durok Note: SSD SCX10 II Universal joint axle shafts give more steering (SSD00325) Matching brass rear axle weights are available (SSD00354) Alumimum C hubs will be available soon... Quote:
137 g for a knuckles set. Thats is pretty heavy. I won't need anything else as I only want to balance out the cage I added in the back. Probably will also get a diff cover for the front. "thumbsup" |

Re: New SSD Enduro Parts All the kudos to SSD for being the only company making aftermarket diff covers that knows the lower edge should be smooth as possible and the entire cover doesn't need to be 2 feet thick. "thumbsup" When you're done working the magic on the Element, can you do the diff cover thing for the TRX4? It's been 2+ years and no one else has figured out how to make a decent diff cover. |

Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Those knuckles are substantially heavier than the Beef Tubes knuckles. Maybe I should have waited... |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Quite a bit cheaper too I believe. If you really wanted to, I’m sure you could find a buyer for the BT knuckles. Perhaps they’ll let you exchange for a BT front axle. |

Topher Builds, I fitted an SSD AR44 axle on my element keeping the element c-hubs and knuckles. A perfect wedding! I Just installed in the AR44 pumpkin some 27x8 T gears, giving me 21% of overdrive. I kept the BTA steering : just had to bend and adjust the steering link, due that the trans sit higher in the AR44. Next step will be the SSD knuckles Cheers |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Quote:
Any chance you could post a pic of the steering link? |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts hmm i better get my wife something good for our anniversary next month hahaha THANK YOU SSD!!! |
Re: New SSD Enduro Parts Quote:
Kinda shocked they don't make diff covers for the TRX4, given it's popularity and time on the market. What's the story there SSD? |
