Fairly new to the RC hobby, I bought a Slash 4x4 last Christmas for my kids and I to play with and we have had a blast with that thing.
I got to play with my first crawler a while ago and have wanted one ever since. I was able to purchase this kit and have been having a great time with it.
I built the kit as follows:
Yeah Racing Hackmoto 35t crawler motor
Hobbywing 1080
Amazon 20kg Servo
Flysky FS-GT5 Transmitter and Receiver
Vanquish VS4-10 Pro stock wheels and tires
Killerbody Maurader Body.

Nothing fancy but it works for now as I learn more about it and find stuff I'd like to change.
I would like to eventually get better tires, I got these from a family member who has a VS4-10 Pro and changed them out. They work but seem to be a little hard compared to other tires I've looked at.

I would also like to get some bumpers to help protect the body but I mounted the body as low as I could without interfering with the suspension flex and I am covering up the bumper mount holes. I could make the rear work but the front would be hard since I'd have to mess with the grille and headlights. Probably won't,but I've already messed up the edges a good bit from hitting rocks and such and I love the way the body and paint looks and would like to keep it decent looking for a while.
