Mike from mikesrch mentioned the rig was taken out to one of the night crawls here. Unfortunately I didn't attend.

Is the front of the housing a possible swaybar bracket?

Pretty cool! If they do release an IFS rig, which it appears this will be, it should increase the already high popularity of this platform.

I haven't bought one since it's pretty similar to the rest of my trucks... an IFS option however would change that pretty quickly!

What does IFS do for a crawler vs solid axle?

I'm curious to see how they do an IFS with those notched axle inserts in the diff instead of normal outdrives.

I won't say it will do anything better because IFS trucks in the past weren't the best designed (limited steering angle, weak driveshafts, etc). However, IFS is appropriate to most Toyotas, Nissans, and modern pickups that are common bodies used for scale trucks.

So it's more of a modern scale thing, not a performance thing?

Yes, it’s an aspect of the scale crawling market that people have been clamoring for. Solid rear and IFS.

I was already putting plans together to swap my enduro to an axial chassis and get the roll scale kit so I’m ecstatic that this is coming. Should be a much more affordable option and will allow me to use the enduro chassis.

That is totally an IFS setup.

The inclusion of universals over CVDs and what looks to be bellcrank steering already makes this more promising than the Roll Scale kit.

It's rather impressive that Element is coming out with a "game changer" so quickly after entering the crawler market just a short time ago.
