Default Kincers Trailwalker

Just picked this up, got the 2 for $499 deal and sold the other one to my neighbor, really don't care for the body, trimmed it up today and I think I can live with it for now, what are your opinions of my hack job lol?

At first I felt the same way as you about the Trailwalker body, but after seeing what people have done paint-wise... It's grown on me a lot. It's got a lot of potential.

I felt the same way about the Sendero as well, plain looking color, etc. After a new paint job and few things here and there, I love the Sendero body.

It's growing on me, I like it way better since I trimmed it up some.

I think it looks great kincer! I wish Element would have made the wheel arches that big to begin with and then had the flare out at the top at that height. I also like the 1.55 wheels that this comes with. With your "hack job" the tires will now have the clearance they need so that don't rub the body with every rock you run over.

Everything soze said I agree with! Paint does wonders for this body and the Sendero body. I wasn't a big fan of my Sendero body when I first got it, but after some minor trimming and adding paint to the outside, it is one of my favorites. With the paint on the outside it adds some realistic weathering and paint scrapes.

I'm still in the process of prepping my Trailwalker body for paint. I think once it is painted it will change the entire look of the body.

Thanks B-MOW, body is growing on me I have to say.

So I got up this morning and did a couple minor mods, changed out the Dean's connector for a XT-60, bound a receiver for my hacked Flysky, and modded an old Marlin rear bumper for something in the rear, I think it works for now. Took it for a test drive and I have to say I'm very impressed with this truck being bone stock, the stock motor and esc worked very smooth, it's really quiet, it almost made it to the top of my test hill, crawled really well through the rock garden and the 1.55 tires seemed to work pretty decent. I've read of control issues, sudden movements and the drag brake not working properly I'm gonna have to say it's the stock transmitter causing that because I had no issues in either direction and it stayed rock solid wherever I wanted to stop. Overall really happy I bought it! The rear bumper is very subtle and hard to see but I think it works for now.
