Does anyone make a brass IFS lower a-arm mount, or differential housing?

An open differential option for the Element IFS?

I am getting my IFS build together and the CG is not great but I am trying to limit un-sprung mass as much as possible to keep the higher speed capabilities of the IFS in tact.

Lower arms and diff housings will be unsprung weight on ifs, your options will be extremely limited for sprung weight.

Diff housing is most definitely sprung, lower arms are typically figured as 50-50, but I said lower arm mount.

I doubt there will ever be an open diff option for the Element. To work with the current axle gear set, the diff gears would have to be the size of Swiss watch parts. The Element team probably could figure something out but that would mean dedicating resources to developing a niche add-on part to a conversion that is already a niche add-on.

You are probably right about this, I did notice that the carrier is very very small during assembly.

Yes, total potato moment don't know why I was thinking backwards there

It was the request for a brass diff housing that threw me off.
