Got the KM3s mounted up on a set of Injora wheels I had sitting around.

IDK if it was just me or what, but damn these tires where a bitch to get seated.

Anyways, they’re on. Slightly taller that the 1.7 TSL’s off the Marlin Crawler.

Just waiting on parts now.

The BFG’s look great on there! These are great little tires!

I have a set in G8 compound mounted on a set of cheapy wheels. I didn’t seem to have a problem mounting them. It must be the stickier Predator compound making them harder to mount.

hey, i hope you or someone else can help me out, or at least enlighten me?

i just got my first crawler, the element kit, and via recommendation also bought proline tires (hyrax). i'm curious what the dot on the side of the molding means? in real cars it's a balance point used for ease of mounting/balancing. my dots are yellow, yours are blue, so it makes me think perhaps it's a compound designator?

It's just the tire rubber compound designator - here is Pro-Line's explanation:

"There is a dot on the side of my tire. What does that mean?
The color dot is something that Pro-Line has added to the sidewall of all our tires. This identifies the compound of the tire. The color represents the material the tires are made out of. A color dot chart can be found on our website under the Application Guides and Charts section."

And here is a link to the pdf file showing all the compounds - notice, the crawler tires are not available in every compound, as they make many tires for racing as well:

Thanks Durok.

Been so busy that this project got put on the back burner.

But I have been messing with it.

Added an interior, mounted up new tires and wheels, trimmed up the rear of the body, and removed the factory tint from the windshield, drivers and passenger windows.

Instead of the Ironman decals, I think I will just removed the factory white and paint the body a different color.

Don’t have a red rig in the fleet at the moment.🤔

Looking good! Glad you removed the tint on the front. The frosted windows don’t do it for me personally. Nice improvement.

Interior looks great too, excited to see the color change.

Looks great dez!

It looks much better with the interior in it!

And yes, no frosty tint!

Looking forward to seeing the new paint job!

Thanks B! 👍🏼

I hated the “frosted” tint and with it’s removal, it was 100% necessary Got it to have an interior.

Just trying to find a color that POPS!🤣

Been crawling my Trailrunner quite a bit as of late, but I got bored with the body.

So with the unfortunate passing of Eddie Van Halen recently And my being a huge VH fan, I thought why not an Eddie tribute body?

I give you, EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE! 🤘🏼

CFA6-E579-D944-4-F44-9-EF0-1-AE1-DD823-EB2
D3-FE6281-19-B6-4-CB9-B557-721241-EC6-EBE

6-E4-D2976-4697-432-F-AA7-D-2-AB95-FA2-D458

Just a stock Trailrunner for the most part. Proline KM3s in Predator mounted on some Red clone Method wheels and a JConcept’s Creep body.

Moved the ESC onto the tray in front of the Trailrunner, relocated the receiver box to the rear and narrowed up the electronics trays.

More to come...

Thanks Smog, Lord knows I’m not that great at painting, there are plenty of mistakes on this body, but it’s good enough to drag across the rocks. 🤣

Really impressed with the KM3 in Predator. I made a near vertical climb Last time out that a highly modded Capra on VooDoo KLRs couldn’t quite get.

Thank you.

Not much of a build, but definitely a tribute.

I have the builders kit as well as the Trailrunner.

Element is in point with their crawlers.

Thanks B!

This this is just fun to drive, other that tires/wheels and body, it’s bone stock.

Tweaked and tuned, but bone stock including all of the electronics. It crawls like a goat and pulled some lines that a modded Capra and a VS410 Pro couldn’t quite get.

I’m extremely impressed and have sold others in my group on buying a Trailrunner.

Had a blast today out at Meteor Crater today at our monthly Route 66 Crawlers event.

This place is one of the best crawling locals I’ve ever crawled!

Eddie kicked ass and continues to pull lines that no one can believe.

Also found a strange monolith out on the rocks!?😮

Nice pics! Meteor Crater looks like a great place to crawl! Always love seeing them red rocks you guys have out west!

Glad to hear that Eddie was rockin' on the rocks! He sure does look good running them lines!

Cool idea using the nuts as gate markers! I like it!

Strange you found a monolith! That thing keeps popping up everywhere! First tiny one that I've seen though!
