| Help me make a decision Trailwalker or ?
Everyone I want to get back in to RC again I haven't ran anything in a log time. My last rc was junk and fell apart. It just turned me off. This will be my first rock crawler. The Trailwalker looks to be a good choice. Before I pull the trigger should I look at something else? The Axial crawlers in this price range seam just not that good. The axial wraith 1.9 I didn't like at all. But I could be dead wrong. Looks like a bunch of scx10 ii work with the chassis I hope this is correct. Which this is the main reason I am asking this question. |

The trailwalker is a fine crawler but it has 1.55 wheels on 3.83 od generals. And for the price it’s great. I have 2. One I’m running 1.9 wheels with km3 class 1 tires and I have the ssd knuckles and the factory brass wheel weights. If you want bigger tires you can always switch them but your going to need to trim the fender wells up. There is also the Element sendero you should you tube the element and see what’s capable of. It’s a very capable rig either way you go.

Thanks djr01974 I don't like the bumpers on the Element Sendero. Also I like the Trailwalker body a lot more. I thought it would be fun to have the smaller tires the switch with to 1.9. There are some sweet looking bead lock wheels on amazon. I saw the Element Trailwalker, Deadbolt and the Wraith 1.9 at the hobby shop. Side by side looking at them all I liked the Trailwalker the best. When you said that you have 2 them. Then they must be good. |

The Trailwalker is even on sale right now. The trucks come with some extra features, like 6% overdrive installed out of the box, and there are gears for 11% overdrive in the box as well.

My vote is for the Trailwalker! It is a great truck for the money! It is a great rig right out of the box. Mine has been a blast to drive. I really like the 1.55 size wheels. They fit the body well and makes it a bit more challenging. Add the IFS to it if you want to have more scale fun! |

I wish element would take the best of all their rigs and put them together in one truck. Body and bumpers on enduro is trash, small tires on Trailwalker are small. They should re-release an sendero with a better body and bumpers. I think it would sell well.

Everyone Thank you I need this. I ordered it last night and should be here sometime this week. @SF RC24 I think your correct it would sell. @B-MOW71 I didn't know there was an IFS that would be challenging! I don't understand what that has to do with scale. |

Kinda depends on the body choice if it would be scale or not.

OK First off Thank you everyone. Got a Trailwalker today and it's as sweet as everyone said. The tires are really good just 1.5. I see why you would like the challenge of the smaller tires. I did flip the motor leads someone said that would help with reverse. I didn't find anything that is a must change. I have a number of RC's over the years and this one all around is the best stock RC I ever had. |

Where did you pick it up? I see here in the thread that it was on sale - I've seen the 2 for $499 deal on Team Associated's site, but not sure if I want the hassle of selling the second one.
