Default Stealth x ?’s

Has anyone converted the spur to 32p?

If running the stock 48p, what’s a good pinion to start with an 1800kv motor?

well gearing seems to be a personal preference. In my limited research on the enduro, I haven't noticed anyone going to 32p. I don't see why you couldn't. I thought I heard the benefit of 48p was less noise.

I think the stock enduro comes geared 87t/18t = 4.83x2.6x3.75 = 47.09:1 FDR.
I think the lowest that will fit is 14t pinion. 87/14 = 6.2x2.6x3.75 = 60.5:1 FDR.

32p would need to be around 56/13 = 4.66x2.6x3.75 = 45.4:1 FDR
I think i have 56/11 on my axial 3 gear which equals 5.09x2.6x3.75 = 49.6:1 FDR

I converted mine to 32 pitch. Used the Robison Racing Spur. It worked really well so far.

How did you do the conversion? Just swap spurs or was it more involved that that?

Just swapped the spur. It was a direct replacement.

WH at range pinions were you bale to use with the RR spur. I'm assuming you were using the 58T spur?

It was the 58T spur. I was using a 12 and 14 tooth on 550 sized 3300kv motor. (Couldn’t find much in stock at the time.) I couldn’t find any pinions to fit that motor shaft.

I have since swapped motors and went back to the stock spur.

I ended up using the slipper eliminator from the stock, axial plastic 3 gear mold. Actually works like a boss, I'll try to post a pic later.

Ok, I typed that way too fast. I would like to use the RR 58T spur with a 22 or 23 T pinion. For use with TRX4 axles, so I need less reduction at the pinion/spur to get in the 40 to 50:1 range. Wasn't sure if that would physically work or if I would be hitting the limits of the motor mount.

Exocaged on youtube did Ar45 portals with the Stealth X trans. Used a 76t spur and 22t pinion. FYI if you want to try that.
