Tophers IFS baja bug may be inspiring me...
I'm tempted to either get this gatekeeper or just an element chassis kit, either way it would get an IFS kit thrown on it and I would maybe figure out some sort of twin I beam setup for huge front travel or... Something.
Then a crazy mambaX deleted front drivetrain and a gyro.
GATEKRASHER??? THRASHER?

I'm with ya Chris, this needs open diffs or something to take advantage of the go fast looks.

Bowhouse RC has that new CNC-machined aluminum N2R Steering Rack for Element Enduro IFS that fixes the problem of what they term to be "wonky steering geometry with major bump steer" by relocating and shortening the tie rods for proper geometry.

You could also run more scale accurate O.D. tires and have more clearance - as per usual on caged R/C buggies, the recommended tires are too damn big at 4.75" tall. Reviews mention that the steering is insane on this release - so much so that the tires rub the cage when cranked all the way over. So maybe a shorter tire on a wheel with more negative offset - added stability?

Sure - it would make it more challenging to clear certain obstacles...

Do you think it's made for 1.9 or 2.2 wheels and tires ?
Element rc doesn't tell anything about this

1.9 wheels ....and I think its a far cry away from a Lazernut , sorry didnt want to hate on the new release but I honestly think they could have done better.

If the axle shafts don't start snapping left and right like the Lasernut, that would be a good thing.

I see way more breaking than axle shafts on that thing ...well and its an easy fix .

The YouTube review from RCDriver, as linked earlier by Max-D is a good one. He makes it pretty clear that this thing is quite prone to roll-overs once you pick up any speed. He blamed it on high COG, but as being alluded to here, there is likely more to it than just that. As it is, this thing doesn’t appear equipped to bomb any rough terrain. I don’t have experience with the Element IFS kit and was hoping to see some video of it soaking up some speed shortly after it’s release. Never did come across any, so I assume it’s not capable?

So how profoundly will the trailing arm suspension affect performance on the rocks?

I say the cage and was hoping for the Elements version of the modern day Wraith 2.2.

Anyone notice the arcade machine on the element builder kit box is called GATEKEEPER?
it was dangled in front of us for about a year lol

And the lack of high speed stability is what I suspect as a biproduct of the front overdrive gears.
That's why I would like to see somebody run this with front shaft disconnected.

My enduro with IFS is also prone to roll over at high speeds.

I don't have any Element vehicles, but can you run 0% overdrive on these trucks? Would that help with high speed stability?

You can indeed. There is a ring and pinion setup for 3 gear ratios if I remember correctly

For these trucks it would be idler and output on the transmission.

Straight out of the box, that would be a negative. You can get the idler and output sets though. The builders kit instructions even list this as an option.

The high overdrive (11.83%) and the low overdrive (5.7%) gearsets come with the kit - and the 1:1 is sold separately...

OMG! I just cut the arcade machines out off of my box last week and wondered what kind of game that was! I never caught onto that until I just read your post!

Good eyes Chris! And well played Element!

It's actually in the IFS box. Unless that's the one you saw?

The Kit box is the outside of the Sendero garage.

When I went looking for more information on this crawler, I seen a Twitter post by Element that had the Gatekeeper arcade cabinet in it.
