I’ve got two on order, the kits are due to arrive today. Setting them up as rock racers for my son and I... like a mini Bomber. I’m wondering how IFS would be in that application vs solid axles. Still have to order other parts for them... planning on Mamba X brushless for power, vanquish wheels and proline krawler 4.75 tires. What are others planning for their builds? Damn, I still haven't got notice of shipment. Funny note on the Element site, no expedited shipping options as they're all supposed "to arrive on the same day". Hmmm.. Running a HH Crawlmaster Pro 550 10t on 3s. My first brushed motor. Going a little crazy with some 2.2's and Pitbull Braven Berserkers. Maybe add some brass to the axles as it seems a bit tippy with the cage. Paying homage to the cage design with a Trent Fab paint theme like this; |

Looks like we're gonna need a separate Gatekeeper thread. These are going to flood the Enduro one. Just got notice from RPP that mine is on the way. Already have some goodies on the way for it and running gear is here waiting. This will be the first kit I've bought since the Wraith was new. |

No clue but after putting mine together last night and running just now after waking up from a long nap. It an excellent backyard or woods bashed. It feels pretty durable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

With that body I don't think it would not be class 1 or class 2. Maybe Class 3? Class 3 allows for dig or 4 wheel steer and larger tires. However, that tube "chassis" looking thing is only a body. Change it and depending on tires it could be a class 1 or class 2. If you can keep the interior it would be a couple easy points. For other places: One place I comp at class 1 they use SORRCA other classes the don't but class 2 is still considered a scaler class. Not sure if the would consider it a scaler. Another places is more into just tire size, drive line and for class 1 and 2 just two channels, turn and burn so that place may let it go for class 2. I’ve got a gatekeeper on order. Now to decide if I should swap in an ifs or not? Then decide what electronics to put in. I’m thinking savox 2290, mmx or rx4 and roc412 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My gatekeeper showed up yesterday, it’s going IFS and most likely brushless of some kind.

Picked up my Gatekeeper on Friday. I have a Castle Mamba-Slate system to put in it. Looking forward to the build. Should be fun.
