Nice choice on the Enduro platform phildirt, it’s a winner. The Trailwalker is definitely designed to be a 1.55er. That said your body work looks well executed, nice job!

Look forward to your progress. Going to have to update my thread tomorrow, I am a bit behind there.

Default Phildirt’s Element Enduro Trailwalker

I also agree with Smog that it looks really good!

This may possibly be my next crawler. I know I say this on a lot of things and change my mind a lot, but I want to either go with a 1.55 rig like the Trailwalker or the TF2. Either way, I definitely want to do a super scale build. I Think the the TF2 will be the better of the two with the hardbody and my love for older yotas.

I also don’t see any Chevy in it at all. It kind of resembles a curvier Jeep Kaiser with smooth bed sides lol.

It depends on how you look at it!

Adding that Chevy grille, two tone paint, chrome trim and tow mirrors definitely changes it up to look a lot more like a Chevy. Looks great!

Warning:photo dump pending. Just wanted to pause for cosmetic update. I know that’s not real exciting but just wanted to share another take on the TW, I feel like it is a blank canvas out of the box. Painted all of the little bits black, some of the body. Was able to achieve nice clean lines. Also did the bumper tuck thing.

I think the right wheels/tires will set this thing off. Thinking possibly black wheels with metallic blue rings.

This grill update will hold me over until I can make a new one. The black gave it some depth. This is as far as I could get the bumper in.

The black details look great! Gives it an aggressive look!

Great job on cutting the fenders too!

Muchas Gracias.

I think I am going to grab a bomber interior and see if I can make it work with this thing. I have seen it done on the Sendero. Can't stand a driverless truck haha. Plan B will be to dust up the windshield like I did on my SCX10 so it's not a fish bowl. But I was trying to keep from heavy weathering on this one because I'm a little bored of it/want to make real scratches and dents for once haha.

Nice paint, like your tail light choice. I threw different tails in mine as well. The stock stickers are the worst.

The Bomber interior should fit with trimming. Its a useful piece that fits a lot of stuff and keeps it light

Edit : How long do think those side mirrors will hang on?

About 1/2 of a 5,000 MAH 2s pack lol. Or less. Honestly as I painted them I was like “why am I doing this” lol
