Default New hd issues

Has anyone ran into a clicking noise coming from the front end. It reminds me of the noise the 10.2 have when driveShaft rubs the spur cover. I have little to no run time and noticed the other day that there was a clicking noise I believe it’s coming from the universals. Checked ring and pinion mesh checked for backed out screws nothing. Noticed at all. Tempted to swap in some ar44 universals to see what happens. Let me know of any issues you’ve noticed. Doesn’t seem to be causing issues but like I said I have little to no run time. Side note I did put some lube on joints and seemed to reduce it little thing I use on full size for diagnosis when stuff isn’t cooperating.

My Enduro is the quietest rig I own - and it was an RTR, only the servo and wheels/tires swapped so far.

Update. Broke down the front axle tonight after work. Lol replaced leaf springs on international lol . Comparing it to the manual they forgot my caster block bearings. So I had some old 5x10x4 bearings I put in just to see and what do you know no more noise from the universals having to much sloop. I argee the element is super quite my last rtr from axial I got lucky with and is just as quite. Sent the pictures to associated so hopefully they send me the parts I love this truck and haven’t even gotten it outside

A little late on my reply if you contact the warranty team at Team Associated they are fantastic at sending out replacement parts, best RC company I have dealt with. Mine showed up out of box with a crack on bodyshell...contacted them they sent a replacement part same day and showed up in less than a week which is in Canada. Only thing you need is copy of receipt, some pictures of issue and a copy of the UPC label from the box.

Not meaning to thread hijack, I'm waiting on my hd, amd recently I've noticed a lot of issues with the gears on the diffs being mentioned in Facebook groups. Are they that weak or is it hopefully just a bad batch ?

A few guys here had their diff (ring) gears installed the wrong direction. The gears (teeth) are stronger running in the correct direction vs backwards and these guys reported the gears were skipping. One guy reported flipping the gears back fixed his issue, he also said they had the motor hooked up in reverse (to fix the gears being backwards I assume).

I think hearing all of that means you really should open up the diffs and inspect/flip them before running them along with checking the motor direction (black wire to black wire red to red etc.). Consult the manual to ensure you have them installed on the correct side.
