| The dreaded tyre rub..
So I've picked up some flat iron xl for my sendero hd, but they're really rubbing. I would have raised the body slightly but I've just got the club5 racing magnets and rear body hinge. Anybody cut/trimmed there fenders or similar ? Not usually a fan of butchered bodies. Share some picks guys to five me an idea 😊

yes, I have cut the fender completely off, you can also use a heat gun and glass cup to shape the fender to be more of a flare.

Yup, I cut the whole flare part of the fender off. Gives a more aggressive stance |

I trimmed off about a quarter inch in from the edge. I drew a line with a sharpie pen (wipes off with alcohol on a Lexan body) and used heavy duty scissors (like kitchen shears) and slowly followed the curve. When done sand the edge and it looks like it was meant to be. You can see photos here: https://www.rctalk.com/forum/threads....130689/page-3 Last edited by Doom!; 08-17-2021 at 04:17 PM. |
