| Aftermarket chassis
I have a new Builders kit in the mail. I have about two hundred to spend. Looking for an after-market chassis. Anyone know if they make over and under Drive gears for this truck yet? I was thinking about a g speed chassis. Thanks a lot Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |

There are no optional axle gear ratios that I have heard of, that’s one of the reasons people swap to AR44s.

Element makes overdrive gears which they include, its been like this since release. The non overdrive gears are optional (available separately) Hot racing makes a few other overdrive gear options: https://www.rpphobby.com/category_s/...show=60&page=1 |

Congrats on the builders kit. I’ve got a G speed chassis set sitting for my Enduro currently, but there are various. Rad rocks just released one as well. Regarding overdrive , I run Team KNKs 25%, good enough for me and other than wheels and tires, cannot come up with a better value hop up https://teamknkhardware.com/replacem...ive+&results=1. Since I’m running brishless (quicrun fusion), I’ll be installing the Factory Team enduro ring gear if it ever restocks https://www.associatedelectrics.com/..._machined_30t/ And yes, I’ve stripped the stock axle gear. With this setup. |

This place appears to have the ring gear, I would call to verify though. https://www.hamiltonhobbies.com/prod...r-30t-asc42059 There is no need to swap axles on this rig, the transmission can be set with overdrive however you want and comes with the parts required in the kit. Optionally if you need more the KNK set above will do it. If you get the front overdrive where you want it, there's no need to mess with rear underdrive. Additionally these guys have some nice Element upgrades: https://lowrangerc.com/shop And these guys too: https://rockpiratesrc.com/ Plus you can never go wrong with SSD or Bowhouse. I would personally go with the lower CG battery tray from Bowhouse and SSD Brass Knuckles before a new chassis. Edited: My head was somewhere else I had bitty designs on the brain when I menat Bowhouse RC. Hopefully I didn't thoroughly confuse anyone. Last edited by TexasSP; 08-30-2021 at 09:17 AM. |
