When I built my GSpeed I used a 2.low with Enduro axles, and it was a killer rig. I've now switched over to 10.3 portals but miss how well the Enduro version did. I've now got three LCG rigs, one with the 10.3 axles and two with Capra axles. One of those rigs uses the FMM/TGH Xfer case and does great out of the rocks. There's any number of possibilities when it comes to chassis/suspension/trans/axles so I would find something that intrigues you and go for it!

Do you mean you switched over the axles? If so, when you did, we’re there any front driveshaft binding issues? I’m looking at a set of 10.3 straight axles for a good price and may later swap in portals later and am concerned as to whether I’d need new driveshafts to go along with them.

No problems with binding. Most driveshafts (I use MIP's on that particular rig) can handle the angles without issue.
