Most aftermarket 17 inch truck wheels are in the 8-9 inch width but the real TRD versions these are 17x7 because Toyota likes to do strange things.

First, both you & Tigris99 are ignoring one of the first things in said - that I have a RAV4 (which is not a 'truck'), not a Tacoma, or Tundra, or any other truck. Second, there are LOTS of aftermarket 17x7 wheels available...search it, yourselves, and you will easily see. I'm not trying to turn this into a debate (tho, it seems both of you are)...all I said, from the beginning, was that is like to find these in the wheels specs I mentioned. Is it so difficult to just accept it as that, and leave it at that, instead of trying to start some sort of debate?

My stock F150 wheels are 17x7...technically, too narrow for the tires that come wrapped around them. I swapped on 17x10, and they look much better.

Carry on.

I got well behind on this thread. Panther, you really must share some pics of your Rav should you lift it and beef it. Sounds like a fun project.
There are so many great pieces for building scale yotas these days. I may have to pick up a knight runner yet

Once it's complete (which could easily be a year, or more), I'll definitely post some photos in the 'misc' section of the forum. As for scale, what I'd really love to do is a classic FJ40.

Looking forward to seeing it too.

I’m with you on the scale FJ40. It’s been on my list for awhile!

Panther, wasn't trying to debate, my apologies. Was just trying to explain the info regarding that specific style of wheel from Toyota. That sadly they don't come in a variation to sizes/bolt patterns and what vehicles I know they do fit. Personally I think they would look pretty slick on a rav.

Got ya.

Well I have decided on a tire, the wheel is still undecided. Plus, since I want to do the lift first, there is still plenty of time to decide on a wheel.

Regarding my RAV4 "wheel search", so as to not take up more space in this thread, I created a 'poll' thread (of anyone is interested in giving their thought/opinions), showing some of the options I'm currently considering:

Poll for Possible RAV4 Upgrade/Lift Wheel Options

No doubt! That didn't last long! Hopefully more shops will have these available in the future. I only found them at RPP.

EDIT, RPP CALLED RIGHT AWAY AFTER I ORDERED, WASNT SUPPOSED TO BE AVAILABKE TO BUY JUST YET.

2 WEEKS THEY HOPE TO HAVE ALL THE OTHER SSD STUFF IN WE ARE WAITING ON.

I shouldn't have spent the money this week but the sets of 4 were already gone. So for like $2 more I ordered 4 singles of the TRD WHEELS!!!

Quoted you so you'd hopefully see this before they are all gone.

Hey thanks for the heads up! I'll head over there to see what's available.

I do like them new wheels. I'm sure they're gonna be a hot item and hard to find for awhile.
