Default Redneck Ecto

Picked up a Ecto from my local classifieds a few months ago. It was basically stock with Capra wheels and tires. Since then I've made a few changes. Injora wheels, Proline BF Krawler T/A KX in G8 compound and Proline dual stage foams. Rock Pirate sliders, Bow House RC lcg batt. Tray, SSD Brass knuckles, CHUBS, 6mm Wheel Hexes, Diff cover and IERC shock towers. This all led me to rethink the rear of the truck. I wasn't a big fan of the rear trailing arm system. After some research and help from others on this site I decided to go 4 link. I swapped out the trailing arms for Club5Racing Element Knightrunner Husky links and Rock Pirate shock towers. I like 4 link so much more. It allows me to run this thing so low in a droop setup. It handles so much better on the rocks. I'm not a go fast guy. So far I'm pumped about the switch. First pic is how it looked when I picked it up.

Nice work so far. You'll love it. Doesn't take much to get this platform crawling like a champ!

Nice man. I also went 4 link on the platform and i enjoy it. Trailing arm seemed better for faster stuff. They did it a bit weird on this one. Now, trailing link and ifs woulda been cool for a racer.

Redneck Ecto has gone through some changes the last 2 months. First was a new Comp Wagon body and Rock Pirates Hardline bed. Next was Rock Pirates Power Wagon boat side sliders, Desert Lizard 90mm shocks running droop, IERC front bumper and a 2300 kv Hobbywing Fusion Pro. Unfortunately and fortunately it was been a cold wet winter here in Northern Utah so no test runs have been made. However it is now The WAR WAGON. A homage to John Wayne.

I've been eying the Ecto body for a project but can seem to find dimensions of the body. Would you mind checking the width at the cab as well as the length of the cab (from the back of the cab to the nose)? I'd greatly appreciate it.

9 3/4" from grill to back of cab. 5 3/4" wide. I Hope that helps.
